about

Omega Music Library delivers another installment of their other-worldly, synth-infused signature sound. Volume 8 hosts a variety of dark and soulful textures consisting of live vocal and instrumental arrangements inspired by 70s and 80s Japanese jazz-fusion, acid folk, and prog-rock.

Instruments featured on this installment include electric guitar/bass, and acoustic guitar played by Gerson Zaragoza, flute and saxophone played by Seb Zillner, live vocals by Stephanie Gayle, and Fender Rhodes, percussion, and synths by Marcus Marino.

Vintage analog synths and modules used in the creation of these compositions include the Korg Trident MK1, Roland VP-330 Vocoder, CS-80 clone Deckard’s Dream, Korg Prologue, Moog Matriarch, and the Roland RE-201 Space Echo.

All mixes were finalized using an Ampex 440b Reel-to-Reel tape unit to preserve and enhance the analog qualities of the recordings. (Special thanks to Polyphonic Music Library)

Collectively, Omega Music Library has worked with artists including Royce Da 5'9", Logic, Curren$y, Planet Asia, Termanology, Blu, and many more.

This sample pack offers the option to download 10 full-compositions (mixes), and/or separated stem data of each track. "Mixes" are included in the "Stem" download as well.

All mixes and stems come marked with the session's BPM.
